La Collinette Hotel, Cottages & Apartments - Saint Peter Port

Consider asking for a room away from the bar if you prefer a quieter night, especially on weekends.

Overall it was decent sized and airy with gorgeous photos of the island. The hotel had a particularly good and absolutely perfect location, walk from a bus stop.

This hotel provides fantastic comfort and fantastic staff.

I was horrified to find that the rooms lacked air conditioning. The fans provided are woefully insufficient to cool the rooms, which face the relentless heat. I expected more modern amenities from a hotel that charges premium prices.

Highly recommended for comfort, service, and delicious dining. My highest praise goes to Manager Cyril Fortier who (during the no-fly 'ash' problem) met me at the Guernsey ferry port at 4am to drive me to the hotel. La Collinette is situated a short walk through the park...  

Staff were excellent, food and restaurant very good with quirky style. Very quiet location with good access to St Peter Port

Convenient for St Peter Port; generally friendly and helpful staff.

Shower lacked pressure; shaver point wouldn't work unless main bathroom light was on; TV reception erratic. Waiter failed to show me the buffet breakfast on my first morning - assumed I'd seen it, All minor points in an otherwise pleasant stay,

The lack of air conditioning in the rooms is a frustrating oversight!!! The sash windows were problematic, often requiring jamming to stay open or closed. Wouldn't it be nice if the cleaning staff were more attentive to setup details?

First time on short break holiday as solo traveller and the hotel was very friendly, helpful staff and feft very comfortable with everything. Lovely to come back to outdoor swimming pool after a full day out before getting ready for evening...  

Though up the hill and out of the town the location was good as it was on a good bus route and was quiet and flat walking around the hotel with a little general shop and another hotel restaurant.. Rooms all...  

Clean room with comfy bed. Breakfast was a delight with plenty of choices. The staff were really good, always cute and helpful. Loved the historical touches around the hotel, especially the WWII bunker on-site....

I attended on business. The room was lovely and the restaurant was very reasonable. The walk to town is 10 mins downhill and very pleasant - the walk back is up a hill but keeps you fit!

Clean, spacious rooms with a lovely pool. Uphill walk back from town is tough.

The room was Lovely, quiet. A good b Fast, particularly the yoghurt & fruit selection. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel.

There is no lift - only a problem if you gave a heavy bag. If you are walking from the ferry, it is up the hill, there is a bus however.

A quiet but friendly hotel, willing to sort any small problem at once..Near but not too near to the port and easy to access the buses, shops etc.

Lack of support rails on steps and stairs. No lift.
